I am proud to be teaming up with the great dudes @8thdaybrewingco this year for my second art show “Painting in the Dark.”
They will be serving up cold German Kolch beer this Sunday 6-8 pm @warhorseink_tattoo in Ravenna

Little “dark story” to tell you how this moment in time came to be. 2 yrs ago I was a wreck mentally just hanging on from trauma and probably ptsd from numerous life events.
I pass by 8th Day on my way home from the shop all the time. I was fighting to take my attention off myself and go be social. Honestly- Events in 2020 and fkn Covid broke me to the core. It was a scary time and I really didn’t know what to do about it.
Fighting to hang, one evening, I said “I’m gonna be social and go have a beer.”

So I walk in, get a cold pint and sit off to the side hidden in as much darkness as I could. This was me being social—————- I can seriously laugh now. But it was where I was at.

Since then I have gotten to know many awesome people and developed friendships as well. And I tattoo a few patrons and Matt -owner as well. Which wasn’t my intention but relationships developed. Trust in people developed.

The title for this year’s art show is titled “The Comback.” It is a process. The past two years showed me it is possible to comeback to life-self-people.
