I completed this in Aug 2019 in Los Angeles at Evermore Tattoo. The time was short lived at Evermore but it was my favorite shop I worked at when I lived in LA. My plan was to work at Evermore for 2 yrs then open my own shop. I took a shot at a dream. I wanted to be the midwestern dude that opened a tattoo shop in LA. Well, we’re back in Ohio here in 2025 now. Things work out and things don’t work out

I got to work with Zack , Michael and Josh and Vanessa off the rip. This shopped buzzed with the sound of coil machines and constant music and story telling. @manarino_tats @themachine13 @psychicselfdefense @evermoretattoo It was a quintessential tattoo shop 10 minutes from Venice Beach where I met my brother at countless nights after work listening to @laguns ⚡️and walking the Venice pier. I also worked a few other cool dudes at Evermore as well @skull_spitter @joshwessling.tattoo And the best non tattooer coordinator that cooked the books daily 😂 @nessy.bot

It’s been a hard journey to have given up on LA but I realized I am truly a Midwesternererer I have had seasonal depression in the summer at times in Ohio🤦‍♂️ Life moves on. I always tell myself to enjoy the journey bc everything is temporary and try to just enjoy the moment. I hated LA for a long time since moving back- it was a rough time living there. Sometimes the “bad times” are focused on too much. I know time can heal wounds and they’re still healing. I do miss the warm winters, palm trees and all the times my wife @cknerem and I had at all of our favorite beaches especially in Malibu. And we even adopted Indigo, our velociraptor ACD @cattledogfitness I love parts of LA and California. Maybe we take a visit again and see my favorite beaches again. But until then…….
