Another big cover up completed. Thanks again to my customer Jason for his dedication and good conversations. Tattoos are more than art. Its crazy how you get to know people through tattooing.

Anyway- we covered this guy up pretty well. I really worked to show direction with angles and value and work more painterly by pushing colors around as the skin healed and shaping the tattoo how I want it. While “painting” the tattoo I also keep in mind tattoo principles such as applying proper saturation to the skin.
